ABOUT: After four decades outfitting Hollywood film and television, Prop Services West is opening its 40,000-square-foot North Hollywood collection to the public. Round One offered 1,800 standout pieces one at a time. Round Two opens the shelves. The working inventory behind the hero pieces is offered in individual, bulk, and group lots, many an entire shelf, rack, or grouping at a single bid. Whether you buy by the truckload or take home a single piece, this is real quality with real depth at auction pricing.

ASSETS INCLUDE:

A wide-ranging collection of home furniture, furnishings, and decor sourced over four decades for film and television, now offered in individual, bulk, and group lots. Many lots are a full shelf, rack, or grouping, ideal for dealers, resellers, decorators, and booth vendors buying depth, while smaller and single lots give collectors and anyone furnishing a home an easy way to get in on it. At this round the value is the volume: quality pieces in quantity, priced to move in a single sale.

Furniture, Lighting & Rugs
Living-room seating in quantity, including sofas, loveseats, and club and wingback chairs, plus dining and occasional tables, glass-top iron end and coffee tables in matched groups, hutches, cupboards, cabinets, wardrobes, and fireplace mantels and surrounds. Lighting across every era and style, from table and floor lamps to decorative pairs. Rugs and runners in Persian, Oriental, and area styles, offered off the rack. Presented largely in group and bulk lots, with select single pieces throughout.

Art, Mirrors & Wall Décor
Framed oil paintings, prints, watercolors, and photographic art by the lot, gilt and carved decorative mirrors, hand-painted folding screens, and a wall’s worth of mantel and gallery clocks. Sculpture and statuary including busts, figurines, and animal figures, alongside decorative screens and shadow boxes. Grouped and single lots throughout.

Vintage, Decorative & The Genuinely Unusual
Shelves of white china and restaurant dinnerware, plates, cups, platters, and serveware, plus clear and colored glass vases, cake stands, compotes, and barware. Brass, copper, and pewter trays, urns, candlesticks, samovars, and vessels by the shelf. Decorative pottery and vases in volume, ceramic figurines and busts, and artificial floral arrangements, potted greenery, baskets, and planters. Plus the occasional conversation piece, from a vintage electric organ to oversized decor.

The following highlights key sale terms and identifies sale specific terms, which are also detailed on the bidding sites. NOTE: Terms are subject to modifcation; please verify terms prior to bidding. All references to Auctioneer encompass ThreeSixty Asset Advisors, Tiger, its bidding platforms, agents and representatives.

 

  • BIDDING: Bidding occurs per the increment table accessible on the bidding website. You may review the bid history on an item at any time. Note that if a high bid equal to your high bid is awarded to another bidder, this means they submitted a maximum bid for the same amount prior to your bid submittal. Items will close at a rate of 2 items per minute and bidding will extend when bids are received within the final 2 minutes of bidding.
  • REPRESENTATIONS: We do our best to provide information that will help Buyers to make purchase decisions; however item description are offered as a guide. We do not guarantee descriptions, materials, dimensions or conditions. Conditions are not stated for most items, but photographs attempt to show visual conditons of an item. While we may provide a condition note, the absence of a condition note or photo identifying a condition shall not imply that no condition issues exist. Bidders are urged to inspect. Further, neither Auctioneer nor Seller makes any representation, guarantee or warranty as to the provenance, authenticity or operability of any items offered for sale, or the conveyance of any third party rights, including but not limited to copyrights or licensure. If an item is not stated in a lot description, assume it is not included. If you are uncertain about a lot, do not bid. Announcements made on auction day take precedence over published information. All Items are sold ‘As-Is, Where-Is’, with all faults and without recourse. Buyer assumes all risks, all sales are final and under no circumstances will any claims will be considered once purchases are removed from the sale site.
  • SHIPPING: Shipping is available by 3rd Party Services, but NOT provided by Sales Agent. SEE PICKUP/REMOVAL BELOW
  • PAYMENTS: Credit cards on file will be charged upon the completion of the sale and are subject to a 4% credit card convenience fee. You may pay by wire transfer by notifying us prior to the close of auction, AND submitting payment by the Payment Deadline (see Payments Section below for more details); Balances over $5,000 must be paid by wire transfer. In the event an invoice remains unsettled after the payment deadline, we reserve all rights to pursue damages, including the right to charge the card on file for the outstanding amount or 25% as liquidated damages and/or resell the items on the invoice.
  • BUYER’S PREMIUM: An 18% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the price of each lot
  • SALES TAX: Items are deemed as received in North Hollywood, and as such are subject to local sales tax of 9.75%. Buyers that are in the business of reselling their purchases, and provide a valid California Reseller’s permit entitling them to sell the items purhcased will qualify for resale exemption, at Auctioneers sole discretion. Out of state resale certificates are not accepted by the State of California for exemption. Bidders paying through the Live.Payments (Live Auctioneers payment portal) will need to comply with Live.Payments requirements regarding sales tax, which may vary from the terms otherwise stated.
  • PICKUP/REMOVAL: Buyers are responsible to make arrangements for items to be removed during posted times from the Props Services West warehouse at 7040 Laurel Canyon Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91605. All removal is by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Paid Buyers can schedule appointments by emailing [email protected]. Buyers arriving without an appointment will be accommodated on an ‘as available’ basis or may be turned away. For assistance with shipping, please see our list of unaffiliated, 3rd party shippers. Buyers must bring all materials, carts and manpower necessary to remove their purchases from where the items sit; we do not offer any loading or shipping services. IMPORTANT: Buyers must arrive with an ID that matches the name on the invoice. If sending a 3rd party to pickup on your behalf, you must complete and submit an Agent Release Form to our office authorizing the 3rd party to pickup on your behalf. The 3rd party must provide ID matching the Agent Release form and sign documentation upon arrival at pickup. All removal is by APPOINTMENT ONLY during the following dates/times.   • DEFAULT: Upon award of bid, Buyers are deemed responsible for a non-refundable 25% deposit. While Auctioneer may elect not to collect the deposit in good faith, in the event of a Buyer default, Buyer’s acceptance of these Terms of Sale, evidenced by their participation in the auction, shall serve as Buyer’s authorization for Auctioneer to pursue whatever means necessary to collect upon the 25% deposit as liquidated damages, including charging its credit card on file. In addition to the collection or retention of Buyer’s deposit, Auctioneer may report Buyer’s failure to perform on its obligations to the Bidding Platform’s system impacting Buyer’s future ability to participate in future auctions.
  • BIDDING DISCLAIMER: Auctioneer reserves the right to add, delete or combine lots, as well as adjust closing times, bid extensions or add or remove reserve prices. The auction relies on third party systems and technology that may be subject to connection interference and other systems failures. Auctioneer reserves the right to take such actions it deems appropriate and fair to resolve bidding issues as a result of such technology issues or human error.
  • OTHER: Auctioneer is acting as agent only and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of its client. Auctioneer is not the shipper or exporter of any purchased items being shipped from the auction site. These terms and conditions together with any amendments or modifications expressly made by the Auctioneer at the time of the auction constitute all the terms and conditions with respect to the sale of the articles at this auction. There are no representations, warranties, terms, conditions, undertakings, or collateral agreements except as hereinabove provided. Auctioneer reserves the right to add, combine, delete or sell lots prior to the sale.

Payments
  • Following the auction, your credit card on file will be charged for the balance of your purchases, including sales tax, unless you have notified us by email prior to the sale closing of your intent to pay by wire transfer.
  • Buyers whose credit cards are successfully charged will receive a paid invoice by email following the auction.
  • Buyers with a balance due after the auction, will receive a balance due invoice following the auction, due immediately;
  • Buyers electing to pay by wire transfer must contact our office for wire transfer instructions at 805-496-8087, ext. 110.
  • Payments are not accepted at the Auction Site;
  • Balances in excess of $5,000 must be settled by wire transfer;
  • All balances due must be received by 5:00pm the day following the auction;
  • Sales tax exemption forms can be faxed to 720-704-5408 or emailed to [email protected]

Pickup Scheduling:  Buyers are responsible to make arrangements for items to be removed during posted times.  All removal is by APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Paid Buyers can schedule appointments by emailing three preferred time slots to [email protected] or calling 805-496-8087, option 3.  Buyers arriving without an appointment will be accommodated on an ‘as available’ basis.  Appointment can be scheduled during the following dates and times:
