ThreeSixty Timeline
For more than 35 years, ThreeSixty founder, Jeff Tanenbaum, has created, managed and implemented innovative asset management and disposition solutions for financial institutions, insolvency professionals, Fortune 1000 companies and small businesses throughout North America.

Spearheading over one-thousand engagements, while pioneering many of the hybrid online/live auction technologies used today, Jeff brings a broad and unique perspective to ThreeSixty. In addition to driving multi-million dollar transactions of machinery, equipment, inventories, and real estate, he has also excelled at facilitating the near impossible – from vacating over one-hundred ITT Technical Institute facilities in under 21 days (including the packing and relocation of 30,000 boxes of student records and destruction of more than 20,000 hard drives) to the turnkey sales of shuttered manufacturing operations and unproven processing technologies.  Through a combination of creativity and perseverance, Jeff has been personally responsible for generating in excess of $1 billion in revenues through auction, orderly sale and turnkey transactions.

Jeff began his career as employee number one at Great American Auctioneers & Liquidators in 1985, while studying business at the University of Southern California.  Learning all aspects of the auction business, from logistics, marketing and sales to auctioneering and asset valuation, he left the company in 1995 as its Executive Vice President to launch his own venture, Remarketing Associates, Inc.  Remarketing supported a wide range of asset categories, from hi-tech manufacturing and computer products to Hollywood production equipment and corporate office facilities, providing years of contract work for such companies as Apple Computer, Digital Equipment Corporation, Read-Rite, Otto Nemenz International and Birns & Sawyer, as well as for the FDIC following the financial crisis in 2008.  Remarketing Associates also took a partnership role in Tranzon to support the national real estate auction firm’s West Coast market under the banner Tranzon Asset Strategies.  In 2010, Remarketing Associates became Tiger Remarketing Services and ultimately the industrial division of Tiger Capital Group.  Jeff left Tiger in 2019, and launched ThreeSixty Asset Advisors.  With offices in the Los Angeles and Denver metropolitan areas, ThreeSixty can easily serve its clients needs throughout North America – from distressed companies and insolvency professionals to healthy corporations and small businesses.

A consistent theme throughout Jeff’s career has been his collaboration with like-minded professionals around the globe.  Inspired during his participation in the National Auctioneer’s Association’s CAI certification program in the mid 1990’s and subsequently through his board positions with the Southern California Auctioneers Association and the Industrial Auctioneers’ Association , Jeff has had the privilege to partner with more than 50 highly respected auction and liquidation firms, each with their own unique skills and specialties.

With an intimate understanding of the strengths and temperament of these firms – from geography and asset specialty to investment appetite, working style and value added services, Jeff is able to build the most ideal team for your project while actively monitoring and influencing project success.
